P4 Digital Healthcare Convention

Following its recent successful summit on the development and delivery of healthcare via distance technologies, where a vision of telehealthcare for Scotland in 2020 was developed, HIE is holding a special two-day convention to discuss the core principles and objectives of a P4 telehealthcare cluster based on preventative, predictive, personalised and participatory healthcare.

The first session, Thursday September 30th, by invitation only, is held at the Drumossie Hotel and is based around a facilitated discussion: “How do we build a P4 digital healthcare cluster?” This session will be attended by senior decision makers from the Scottish public sector and health industry. The session begins at 12 noon, concludes at 5.30pm and is followed by dinner at 7pm.

The second session, Friday October 1st, begins at 8.45am and is open to healthcare professionals, industry and patient groups interested in contributing to the creation of a first-class telehealthcare cluster. The session, which concludes in the early afternoon, includes an overview of telehealthcare and its relevance to rural Highland communities, workshops and talks by guest speakers.
